Important Updates for Returning Washington Grant Apprenticeship Recipients

  • AJAC will no longer be processing/paying/administering the WG-A
  • All applications will be submitted on the Washington Student Achievement Council website
  • Information submitted will be routed to the college you select (Be sure to select the correct college)
  • Your college will be processing your application and paying the grant – if you have questions about your application, please contact your college’s financial aid office
  • If approved, you will receive the ENTIRE 2025/26 grant amount in one payment – not split evenly among your quarters. It will be your responsibility to budget the grant accordingly to ensure you have funding needed for expenses each quarter. It is also your responsibility to ensure you meet the annual Satisfactory Program Progress guidelines provided by your college
  • Please be patient – this is a brand-new process for everyone involved and the college financial aid offices and WSAC will need time to sort through unexpected issues and details.
